Ceará adds several tourist attractions and participation in fairs has been highlighted. The secretary of tourism, Arialdo Pinho, adds: “Ceará’s participation in national and international tourism fairs works for people to know the state. It is so much that we were growing and attracting the attention of airlines to Ceara. To get an idea of how this works, 80% of the people who come here on airplanes are foreigners. ” In Brazil, we highlight the Expo Abav, in São Paulo, where the Ceará stand was one of the most sought, in the last edition, in September. 150 partners participated, including representatives of municipalities and the state tourist trade. Abav is an excellent fair for relationships with important tourism companies and brands and also for contact with the final public. Also in São Paulo, Ceará participated in WTM, in the capital, and AVIRRP, in Ribeirão Preto. FESTURIS, in Gramado, also had the presence of Ceará. The event is segmented and brings together the main trends of the sector, with a wide variety of spaces, including: business, sustainability and accessibility, tech and corporate, luxury and much more. In the Northeast, JPA Travel Market, in João Pessoa, opened space for Brazil Travel Market, which will take place in Fortaleza, from 2020. The proposal is that the event is consolidated in the tourist calendar of the Northeast, Brazil and the world, facing major fairs in the country, such as ABAV and WTM Latin America.
Internationally, Ceará has a calendar full of participation in fairs, Top Resa in Paris and Rimini in Italy are among the main. They are fundamental for doing business, exchanging knowledge and experience and expanding the market. This year Ceará was also present at the fairs of Lisbon, London, Frankfurt, Barcelona and Buenos Aires, among other national and international. The capital of Ceará is part of the international route of several flights. From the city, there are direct routes to Lisbon with TAP, Paris via Air France, Amsterdam by KLM, Madrid, from December 20th, operated by Air Europa, Miami with Tam, and flights with a Sal Island stop, via Cape Verde Airlines, to Lisbon, Paris, Rome and Milan. In addition to these connections, the flights expand the possibilities of connections between Fortaleza and several other important cities in the world, such as Milan, London and Berlin. And this is a great differential for the dissemination of the capital of Ceará in all these fairs.
